Beethoven Ninth Symphony is filled with a plethora of emotion. Constantly the movements bring out a different form of emotion from the listener. https://search-proquest-com.ezproxy3.library.arizona.edu/docview/182229340/6CC638CCE66543F7PQ/1?accountid=8360

This article goes into the many details of the specific emotions that each movement of the symphony should include. For example the article would describe the second movement as “Delight seizes us at once with the first rhythms…” Or even the fourth movement with it’s robust description of the “harsh outcry” that begins with it.

This article does a fantastic job at painting the picture of what emotions can be achieved with sound, by using Beethoven’s Ninth symphony. What this article makes me want more of is a sense of the different emotions that could be possibly gained from these movements. Not everyone is the same, so its then possible for me to imagine if a different listener would have possibly different emotions when listening to the symphony.

The article does a great job at describing these emotions, and it leaves me satisfied yet desiring more to be had. There can be a lot of fun to be had in a way to imagine different view points to be had with these articles. That is what I want to be gotten out of this, not just the bare minimum of what the article says to be accepted. However for possibly a different interpretation, perhaps a more personal interpretation to be described for oneself for what these movements can make a person feel.
